FBP developed a site and planting plan for the Fairbank residence on the shores of Eagle Harbor on Bainbridge Island, WA. Access down the steep slope was provided with a cascade of sandstone slab steps connecting patio terraces. The slopes were planted with native species and other drought tolerant species such as Lemon Beauty Box Honeysuckle, Wood’s Compact Kinnikkinnik and White Rockrose, ornamental grasses such as Pink Fountain Grass, Mexican Feather Grass and Dwarf Maiden Grass, and perennials such as Black-eyed Susan and Purple Coneflower.
